Its rugged design and reliability under the most challenging operating conditions have made the ROLLANT the world's top-selling silage baler. Reinforced rollers, intelligent chain lubrication and the optional MAXIMUM PRESSURE SYSTEM (MPS) in the tailgate ensure that it stays that way.

The proven ROLLANT fixed-chamber concept is subject to continuous development and improvement by our engineers. For the new generation, they have revised the design completely. One glance at the new lines makes it clear that this is one of the most robust balers in the world.
The feed rake version of the ROLLANT is the most popular CLAAS baler. The forage is fed into the bale chamber gently, without sustaining any damage. Equipped with a pick-up 1.85 m wide, the baler is sufficiently narrow and flexible to continue producing particularly dense bales when used on slopes or behind smaller tractors.
In the ROTO FEED version of the ROLLANT 520, a high-performance rotor draws the forage in, accelerates it into the fixed chamber and ensures very high compaction. The rotor machines are straightforward and user-friendly, so that even less experienced operators can get the maximum out of a ROLLANT.
Short forage and high baling pressure are basic requirements for energy-rich, tasty silage. With its 14 individually secured knives, the ROTO CUT cutting rotor enables 70 mm chop lengths of outstanding quality. The knives can be fitted and removed conveniently from above when the baling chamber is open.
